"We had some chances to beat a good basketball team," said coach Marty Rowe. "We made a strong defensive stand late in the game and with the clock ticking down, they had a player make a desperation 3-point shot. We also missed a couple of key free throws in the late going."
German led all-scoreres with her 36-point output and played the full 40 minutes for Head Coach Marty Rowe. The Old Fort native went 10-of-21 from the field and was on fire from long distance nailing 8-of-15 shots from behind the arc. Madison Lee added 10 points and grabbed six rebounds while Karley Miller made it three players in double-figures for Lee with 10 markers.

"Jenna (Adams) got in early foul trouble and that seemed to take her out of her game," added Rowe. "She has to be a key part of our offense for us to beat good basketball team." Adams played only 14 minutes and did not score.
"Overall we have to get better post play," Rowe noted. "That includes both offense and defense. We'll go back to work and get ready for two more tough road games."
