The Lee University men's tennis team won its second consecutive match with an 8-1 defeat of Georgetown College Saturday afternoon at the DeVos Tennis Center. The Flames (12-9) travel to Huntsville, Ala., on Sunday to face Mississippi College at 1 p.m. EDT in their regular season finale.

Jake Okines and Charles Jabaley defeated Tristan Nosek and A.J. Berk, 8-3, at No. 3 doubles. Rhys Milne and Boyd Blackburn recorded the same margin against Austin Colliver and Ryan Simms.

Georgetown (4-14) avoided the shutout with a win at No. 1 doubles. Ryo Takeda and Cole McCreary held off Eirik Groner and Karl Hulten, 8-6.

Okines dropped just three games to record the No. 3 singles victory over McCreary. Milne was a 6-1 winner in his first set and held off Nosek, 7-5, to win the second set.Groner beat Takeda 7-5 in the opening set and rode the momentum to a 6-0 second-set shutout to secure the team win.

Blackburn was a 6-3, 6-1 winner over Colliver at No. 4 singles. Hulten surrendered one game to Clay and Westley Lemke beat Kaushik Kailish 6-0 and 6-2.
