Walker Arena will be rocking on Tuesday night as both the Lee men's and women's basketball teams will be hosting Gulf South Conference Quarterfinal games at 6 and 8 p.m.
The Lady Flames have qualified for the GSC Tournament in each of their first three seasons in the league and for the second straight year will host a playoff game as they claimed the No. 4-seed and will take on fifth-seeded West Georgia at 6 p.m.Â

With a win the Flames and Lady Flames will head to the GSC semifinals which will be held at Samford University in Birmingham, Ala. on Saturday. The Lady Flames are 2-0 all-time in GSC quarterfinal games having won at West Florida as the five-seed in 2016 while rolling past Union last season as a three-seed.
THE MATCHUP
The Lady Flames enter postseason play at 22-6 and were 15-5 in conference play. Lee claimed 20-plus wins for the 14
th straight season under the direction of head coach Marty Rowe.
Erin Walsh leads the Lady Flames into the postseason averaging 12.6 points per game and has connected on 77 3-pointers. The senior has scored 1,764 points in her career. Senior forward Carrie Cheeks has also been a force for of late for Lee in the post.
Cheeks tied a career high with 27 points in Thursday's victory over Shorter and was named the GSC Player of the Week on Monday. The Ranger, Ga. native is averaging 11.2 points and 7.1 rebounds per game this season.
The Lady Flames fell to the Wolves in their lone meeting this season way back on Dec. 2. Lee jumped out to an 18-point first half lead in the game but West Georgia used a big second half to earn a 72-63 win at Walker Arena.
The Wolves come in winners of 3 of 4 and finished the regular season at 16-11 and 12-8 in the GSC. West Georgia features a balanced a scoring attack with Kayla Carter (13.8) and Aysha Harris (11.5) leading the team. A'kia Harris crashes the boards for 7.1 rebounds per game.
