BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-After helping lead the Flames to a series win over Montevallo, Dylan Standifer was named the Gulf South Conference player of the week. He was 6-for-18 from the plate in the three games for a batting average of .615. He drove in five runs and he crossed the plate six times. Standifer was walked once, hit by a pitch, had one home run, and did not strikeout. In the outfield, he had nine defensive putouts.
This week the Flames will host Tusculum at home on Tuesday at 6 PM for mental health awareness game. Then this weekend, the Flames will host. Union University for a weekend GSC series. On Saturday it will be the annual Military Appreciation Day.
