BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-After a record setting weekend for the Lee University baseball team, Cam Suto has been named Gulf South Conference player of the week as announced by the league on Tuesday.

Suto helped lead the Flames to a 4-0 week. He hit .476. and was 10-for-21 at the plate. He had 16 RBI and 13 runs scored. He had nine RBI in the seven inning game against CBU where Lee scored 28 runs. He had one triple and four home runs this week. He slugged 1.143, was walked three times, and was 5-5 in stolen bases. He had 35 putouts out at first base.
