BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - For the second time this season, the Lee University women's cross country team has swept the weekly Gulf South Conference awards. Maria Mitchell was named runner of the week while Capucine Cureau was the freshman of the week.

Mitchell earned runner of the week for the third time this season.  Mitchell stopped the clock at 20:50.30 for fifth place at the UAH Invitational. Capucine Cureau claimed 19^th (22:01.21) at the race and earned her second GSC freshman of the week award.
