BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - After helping lead the Lee University softball team to a 5-0 week, senior outfielder Ana Macha was named Gulf South Conference player of the week as announced but the league on Tuesday.

Macha had a big week at the plate. She was 10-for-17 at the plate for an .588 average. As the second batter in the order, she scored nine runs and also had five RBI. On the base paths she was 5-for-5 in stolen bases. She was walked once and did not have a strikeout.

This weekend the Lady Flames will go to Cleveland, Miss. to take on Delta State University to start Gulf South Conference action.
