OXFORD, Ala, - Due to rain on Saturday, May 3, the Gulf South Conference baseball championship has been delayed.

Yesterday the championship only managed to get two games in with the University of West Florida defeating Trevecca Nazarene University and Valdosta State University defeating Lee University. The final two games between Mississippi College and the University of West Alabama and Delta State University verses the University of Montevallo did not occur.

If weather allows, those two games will be attempted to be played on Saturday beginning at 6 PM CST. The Lee ve Trevecca game won't be played until Sunday at the earliest.
