CLEVELAND, Tenn. –After the first round of the NCAA South Region Tournament, the Lee University women's golf team sits in seventh place. 18 teams are competing at the Cleveland Country Club with four moving on to the final site in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Hannah Nall and Emilia Nordström both sit tied for tenth to lead the Lady Flames.
Lynn University leads the tournament after one round at six over (294). Wingate University is second at 299. Erskine College is also at 299.the University of Tampa is fourth at 301. Anderson University and Barry University are tied for fifth at 302. Lee is at 306 (+18) and is 12 shots behind Lynn.
Nall and Nordström both shot 74 on the day for a ten-over score. Olivia Ireland shot a 78 and is tied for 53. Lehane Louis-Dumond is tied for 68
th with an 80 on the day. Justine Emond is tied for 80
th with an 81.
Olivia Meinecke of Wingate leads the tournament at -2 shooting a 70.
What was supposed to be a three day tournament, will be pushed to two days due to forecasted rain on Wednesday. The field will play two rounds tomorrow with a shotgun start at 8:30 AM.

"Proud of the fight on the back nine today. We know the Cleveland Country Club can be difficult. But they knew they couldn't give up after a few bad holes. They stayed engaged and did what they needed to."
