Women's Golf Recognized as 2025–26 WGCA All-Scholar Team

FRISCO, Texas  – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) has announced the recipients of the 2025-26 WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award for all divisions. The award recognizes the women's collegiate golf program with the highest collective average team GPA, which includes all the team's student-athletes for the 2025-26 season. The Lee University women's golf team had the sixth best GPA in all of NCAA DII.

As a team, Lee had a 3.785 team GPA this season. All eight golfers had a 3.2 or higher GPA and all of them were also on the GSC Honor Roll. 

In Division I, Houston Christian University came out on top with a 3.947 GPA; they had eight players on the team. Leading Division II was Catawba College, as the team's six players averaged a 3.843 GPA. At the Division III level, Carleton College came in first place with a 3.842 GPA and had seven players. In NAIA, Wayland Baptist's team of five players led the division with a GPA of 3.881. Lastly, Northeast Mississippi College topped the NJCAA with a 3.949 GPA. 

The WGCA also announced the top 25 teams with the highest team GPA for Division I, Division II and Division III, as well as the top 10 teams for NAIA.
