Women's Golf Has Five On The WGCA All-American Scholar Team

FRISCO, Texas– The 2025-26 WGCA All-American Scholar Team was announced today with 1,551 women's collegiate golfers recognized with this prestigious honor. The Lee University women's golf team had five on the team. Emilia Nordström, Olivia Ireland, Justine Emond, Lehane Louis-Dumond, and Gabriella Diaz were the five selected for Lee.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics and continue to demonstrate the high-level academic achievements of our players. To be selected, a student-athlete must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season, have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year, and nominated through the team's conference championship.

Ireland has a 3.95 GPA in finance, while Louis-Dumond has a 3.69 GPA in business administration. Nordström has a 4.0 GPA in finance. Diaz has a 3.969 GPA in journalism and Emond has a 3.70 GPA in biochemistry.

Ireland, Louis-Dumond, and Nordström were also on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. All five were GSC Academic Honor Roll members, and Ireland and Nordström were on the GSC All-Academic Team.
