Box Score CLEVELAND, Tenn – The Lee University lacrosse team lost their fourth game to a top 25 team this season as they fell to #17 Rollins College 21-7 on Monday night. Despite leading 4-3 after the first quarter, Lee allowed Rollins to go on a 18-0 run over the next two and half quarters. With the loss, Lee fell to 1-6 on the season.
Kamille Kremkau and Noelle Harrington scored the first two goals of the game in the first five minutes. Katelyn Sweeney added a third goal, and then Kremkau got her second to lead 4-3 after 15 minutes.
After that it was all Rollins College as they scored nine goals in the second quarter and five in the third quarter without conceding one to Lee. They added three goals in the fourth before Lee scored the final three goals of the game. Taylor McGovern, Harrington, and Makenna Luzier each had a goal in the last four minutes of the contest.
Rollins took 38 shots to just 13 for Lee. Freshman goalkeeper Savannah Weisman had six saves. Harrington and Kremkau had two goals each while Vesey had three assists. Rollins had 22 draw controls to just nine for Lee.
The Lady Flames will play on Thursday, March 13 at Embry-Riddle.
