Lady Flames Fall to Flagler In Regular Season Finale

Box Score SAINT AUGUSTINE, Fla.– In the final game of the regular season, the Lee University lacrosse team fell to Flagler College 20-6. The Lady Flames will now turn around and take on Flagler again on Friday, April 25 in the semifinals of the Gulf South Conference tournament. The Lady Flames and the Saints will play in Huntsville, Ala.
 
Flagler scored the first four goals of the game before Hannah Vecsey scored on a free position shot. Flagler scored three more times in the first quarter to lead 7-1.
 
Lee outscored Flagler 3-2 in the second quarter to be down just five goals at halftime. Hannah Vecsey scored her second goal while Kennedy Lewis and Emelia Tippett each scored as well.
 
Flagler owned the third quarter outscoring Lee 8-1. Kamille Kremkau had the lone score for the Lady Flames. Tippett scored her second goal of the game in the fourth quarter. Flagler scored three times for their 20 goals.
 
Flagler outshot Lee 44-20 in the win. Lee had 18 turnovers while the Saints only had eight. The Lady Flames only had two assists on the six goals. 
 
Savannah Weisman had double digit saves once again in the contest with 14. Vecsey and Tippett each had two goals to lead the Lady Flames.
